Hazmat Kits and Tube Sets

For the convenience of our customers, Dräger Safety has developed several different measuring systems, which contain all equipment necessary for select applications. From the measurement of soil contaminants to breathing air, Dräger Tube Kits provide quick results efficiently and with ease.

Civil Defense Simultest (CDS) Kit
Are you prepared to respond to a terrorist attack involving the use of chemical weapons? In today’s world, immediate and accurate detection of toxic chemicals is crucial. The Draeger CDS Kit uses specially developed Draeger-Tubes (the same tubes used by NATO forces) into a quick and easy to use kit. Two simultaneous Test Sets measure a wide range of chemical substances including nerve, blood, lung, and blister agents.
Draeger Tubes have been proven by Aberdeen Proving Grounds (SBCCOM) to be more accurate, more specific and more reliable than PID or FID devices in detecting chemical warfare agents. The CDS Kit requires no calibration, no battery charges or changes, and is extremely simple to use.
Gases Measured:
Chlorine, Hydrocyanic Acid, Phosgene, Cyanogen Chloride, Organic Arsenic Compounds and Arsine (e.g. Lewisite), Nerve Agents (via Phosphoric Acid Esters) and Blister Agents (Mustard and other Organic Basic Nitrogen Compounds).
Simultaneous Test Sets
Dräger’s Simultaneous Test Set measures several gases at once. The tests offer a means to detect a variety of unknown chemicals in a short amount of time. Different systems are available for the detection of chemical warfare agents (i.e. nerve agents, sarin) and clandestine labs.
  • Haz Mat Simultest Set I: Inorganic Substances: Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Hydrogen Cyanide, Ammonia and other basic gases, Hydrochloric acid and other acidic gases.
  • Haz Mat Simultest Set II: Inorganic Substances: Sulfur Dioxide, Chlorine, Hydrogen Sulfide, Carbon Dioxide and Phosgene.
  • Haz Mat Simultest Set III: Organic Substances: Acetone and other Ketones, Toluene and other Aromatics, Hexane and other Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Methanol and other Alcohols, Perchloroethylene and other Halogenated Hydrocarbons.
  • Clan Lab Simultest Set: Ammonia, Phosphine, Hydrochloric Acid, Phosgene and Iodine
  • Civil Defense Simultest Set I: S-Mustard, Phosgene, Hydrogen Cyanide, Lewisite, and N-Mustard
  • Civil Defense Simultest Set V: Nerve Agents, Cyanogen Chloride, Phosgene, S-Mustard, and Chlorine
  • Fumigation Simultest Set: Ammonia, Methyl Bromide, Hydrogen Cyanide, Phosphine and Formaldehyde
You will find detailed information about Dräger Tubes in connection with hazardous material in our Hazardous Substances Database VOICE.
Aerotest Systems
Aerotest Systems can be used to analyse pressure gases. Pressure gases e.g. breathing air, industrial compressed air, medical gases (i.e. med. Hydrogen, med. Nitrogen, med. Laughing Gas, med. carbon dioxide) or carbon dioxide for the beverage industry can be examined within several minutes to its purity. The measuring period for one simultaneous measurement up tp 7 contaminations will take only 5 minutes.
Clan Lab Simultest Kit
As the problem of methamphetamine production in clandestine labs continues to grow, more First Responders and law enforcement personnel are being put into situations where they must be able to ensure their safety from potentially toxic, corrosive or explosive conditions. Exposure to the chemicals found in the discovery and clean up of a clan lab can cause both short and long-term health effects.
Draeger has developed the Clan Lab Simultest Sets and Kits that identifies the presence of chemicals commonly found in the major production methods of methamphetamine. This Clan Lab Simultest Set allows the user to quickly determine the degree of exposure to target chemicals found on site and confirm the appropriate level of respiratory protection. The Clan Lab Simultest identifies and measure gases fond in the three most common production method of methamphetamine.
Gases Detected:
Hydrochloric Acid, Ammonia, Phosphine, Phosgene and Iodine
Haz-Mat Simultest Kit
Designed primarily for the municipal fire service and other emergency responders, this kit quickly identifies and quantifies a wide range of chemical substances using the Draeger Simultaneous Test Sets. The Simultaneous Test Sets are sets of five specially matched DrägerTubes designed to be the fastest, simplest and most comprehensive means hazardous material identification. The Haz-Mat Simultest Kit includes three Simultaneous Test Set Kits for measuring 15 different Organic and Inorganic chemicals and/or chemical families. With each set requiring less than one-minute analysis time, the entire process takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
The Haz-Mat Simultest Kit comes complete with an accuro pump, 10 Simultaneous Test Sets, Test Set adapters, full color laminated instruction sheets, and an Air Current Kit together in a rugged Pelican case.
Gases Measured:
Acid Gases, Basic Gases, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocyanic Acid, Nitrous Gases, Carbon Dioxide, Chlorine, Hydrogen Sulfide, Phosgene, Sulfur Dioxide, Aliphatics, Aromatics, Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Ketones and Chlorinated Hydrocarbons.
Hot-Pack Holder
The first ‘Tube-Warmer’ without the need for electricity.
This Dräger Hot-Pack Holder, used in connection with Hot-Packs, enables the accurate use of Dräger-Tubes® below the temperature stated in the instructions. All Dräger-Tubes® for short term measurements (excluding Dräger Analytical Tubes – long size) can be used at a temperature down to -20°C.
The Hot-Packs can be reactivated several hundred times simply by boiling in water or heating in a microwave.
