TRANSUS

Transus Instruments is a manufacturer of accurate and efficient Ultrasonic Flowmeters and Ultrasonic Transducers.  Transus offers reliable and precise gas flow measurement by using their patented Broadband Continuous Wave signal processing, which results in improved response time, signal to noise ratio and power usage. Transus offers low cost flowmeters and transducers that are highly accurate and intrinsically safe.  Transus products are used in a variety of applications, such as:

                 Custody Transfer

                 Flare Gas

                 Shale and Coal Seam Gas

                 Landfill and Biogas

                 Process Gases

Transus Ultrasonic Gas UIM-4F Series Flow Meter

The UIM 4F has four paths as standard. It has been tested to meet the international standards for custody transfer metering including AGA-9 and OIMLR137 (class 0.5). Integration of the flow across the paths provides accurate measurement even with varying flow profiles caused by changes in flow velocity, gas composition and pressure or upstream pipe configuration. Fast response is maintained by the simultaneous transmission on more than one path using Broadband Continuous Wave processing. The measured flow profile provides a diagnostic tool. Should one path fail, the Path Substitution Algorithm uses historical flow data to continue reliable flow measurements until the path recovers or remedial action is taken.

Features & Benefits

LPF Flare PSignature Series Ultrasonic Flowmeter

LPF series flowmeters are able to deliver accurate velocity, volumetric flow, and mass flow measurements over a large range of flow rates and in unsteady conditions. In addition, LPFX series flowmeters can calculate molecular weight for applications that require additional property measurements. LPF series flowmeters are designed for use in flare gas, vent gas, bio gas, fuel gas, and process gas applications and are suitable for use with varying gas composition. Flowcell sizes varying from 1 – 96 inches are available for ASME CLASS 150 – 600. Typical velocity reading accuracy is ±2.0% from 0.3m/s to 50m/s and ±5.0% from 0.3m/s to 120m/s with ±0.5% repeatability of reading. PROCON SYSTEMS flowmeters meet all applicable North American codes and standards and can be certified based on the needs of the customer and installation location. PROCON SYSYTEMS has been designing and servicing flowmeters for over 25 years and continues to combine engineering experience with new and proven technologies to provide the best solutions for the customer. All flowmeters come fully assembled and are tested and inspected before shipment.
