IGITAL RADIOMETERS
DRIVEN BY DEMAND, PERFECTED BY RESEARCH, BACKED BY REPUTATION...

Introducing a new generation of Digital Radiometers!

  • Broader and better-defined bandpass interference filter with no sensitivity to infrared or other undesirable radiation
  • Sturdy silicon photodiode sealed and fixed in a liquid- and water-resistant metal/quartz package to protect against effects of shock and humidity
  • Sensor housing constructed with series of baffles and unique self-sealing mechanism to help eliminate light leakage
  • Overall accuracy of better than ±5% directly traceable to NIST standards

  • Calibrated with pyroelectric radiometer for maximum accuracy
  • Autozeroing, excellent linearity and cosine response, solid-state design, compact, durable, simple operation, battery-level indicator
  • Ten models measure five wavelength regions of UV and blue light

Now Offering Dramatically Increased Accuracy for More Repeatable Results!

DM-Series Digital Radiometers

This line of products is composed of eight models in two broad categories, the X and H versions. Each category has separate units to measure light sources in the short wave UV (230-280nm), medium wave UV (280-320nm), long wave UV (320-400nm) or blue light (420-480nm) ranges. The X version meters provide readings from 0-19,990 µW/cm2. The H version meters are designed to measure high-intensity light sources from 0-199.9 mWcm2 (0-199,900µW/cm2).

Model DM-254XA Radiometer
The new sensor head on all DM-Series radiometers is attached to the digital readout unit by a 3-foot (91.4cm) coiled cord, which may be conveniently stored within the meter case lid; longer cords are available on special order. The housing protects the sensor cell from shock and abuse and isolates the photodetector from thermal gradients during handling, ensuring drift-free measurements.

All DM-Series meters feature autozeroing and are equipped with
a low-battery indicator light.

DR-Series Digital Readout Units with Interchangeable Sensors

These units measure both ultraviolet and blue light through the use of any of five interchangeable sensors. The DRC-100X readout unit measures from 0-19,990 µW/cm2, while the DRC-100H provides measurements from 0-199.9 µmW/cm2 (0-199,900 µW/cm2). For maximum versatility, the DIX-Series sensors connect easily to the readout units by a 4-foot (121.9cm) detachable cord; longer cords are available on special order.

Interchangeable sensors have a number of advantages. When a sensor is out for routine recalibration or repair, the readout unit is still usable by simply attaching another sensor. Also, since the economical DR-Series readout units can be used to measure up to five wavelength regions, it’s like having five different meters in one. For added convenience, the DR-75 carrying case holds one readout unit and up to four sensors.
