The IF200 Insertion Flow Meter is a reliable and accurate instrument for monitoring instantaneous and total flows in full pipes ranging from 2" to 30" in diameter.  The debris-shedding turbo prop design makes the meter ideal for measuring instantaneous and total flows of irrigation water, well water, process water, or other non-clean water applications.  The battery-powered computer displays current flow rate and total flows in any engineering units and for all pipe diameters. Installation of the IF200 is simple, and unit can easily be moved from site to site.

Digital Computer
The IF200's Digital Computer is easily calibrated for all pipe diameters and any flow rate units including gpm, cfs, m³/sec and acre feet.  Units and diameters can be easily changed in the field.  The computer contains a water flow totalizer that can be viewed with the push of a button.  The Flow Computer will last for at least two years on its internal batteries.  NOTE:  The pulse output option will reduce the battery lifetime.

Turbo-Prop
The IF200 incorporates a unique Turbo-Prop propeller sensor, which uses the most accurate positive displacement technique and is highly accurate over a wide range of flow rates.  The Turbo-Prop's propeller rotates freely on its bearing shaft with no mechanical interconnections for minimal friction.  Magnetic material in the propeller tip passes a pickup coil in the housing producing electrical impulses that are carried by internal wiring to the readout display.  The Turbo-Prop is easy to remove for cleaning or replacement.

Global Water's Insertion Flow Meter is much more accurate than paddle wheel flowmeter type sensors, which are non-linear at low and high water velocities.

Debris-Shedding Design
The unique debris-shedding bar holding the Turbo-Prop guides debris away from the propeller.  The Turbo-Prop is placed in flows to trail the shedding bar, so debris that comes off the shedding bar slips past the Turbo-Prop and avoids interfering with measurements.
