Hanna Instruments is by far the largest manufacturer of pH electrodes worldwide and has been at the forefront of pH technology for years. In 1984, Hanna introduced the HI 1213S, the world's first combination pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, and in 1988, invented the world's first pre-amplified electrode, AmpHel®. With eighteen years of experience in manufacturing electrodes, Hanna has created a vast assortment of electrodes to meet your specific requirement. We are proud to present two new innovations in electrode technology here, namely, the “intelligent” electrodes and the extractable fiber junctions. The former incorporate a Hanna exclusive custom microchip that memorizes the calibration data. The “intelligent” electrode is then recognized the moment it is connected to the pH meter. Several electrodes can be used in parallel without requiring recalibration. All “Intelligent” electrodes incorporate a temperature sensor. The latter helps prolong the life of the electrode by a simple operation resulting in a replenished junction.
