The HI 93703 portable microprocessor-based turbidity meter provides lab-grade accuracy even in the field. With 4 keys and weighing only 350 grams, HI 93703 measures turbidity from 0 to 1000 FTU (NTU)*. For best field accuracy, it measures from 0 to 50 FTU in steps of 1/100th of FTU. This is 10 times better than comparable models on the market that measure 10 to 50 FTU only in decimal points! The meter meets the ISO 7027 requirements. HI 93703 is equipped with an infrared LED as source of light. Unlike standard lamps, the infrared LED has a long life. More significantly, it maintains constant emission for the entire life of the instrument. The wavelength peaks at 890 nm, which provides the required intensity of diffused light even in samples with low turbidity values, and also reduces the interference from any colors. The meter is very easy to use. All operations can be carried out with only four keys and troubleshooting functions can be performed with error code on LCD. Moreover, the meter's versatility and durability ensure low maintenance. Sensitive to the user's need to work with properly calibrated meters, Hanna Instruments has equipped HI 93703 with a unique GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) feature. GLP circuitry automatically stores and retrieves the last calibration data. At the touch of a key, the last calibration data together with time and date are displayed allowing the user to maintain an accurate calibration schedule Auto shut-off turns the meter off after 5 minutes of non-use to save batteries.

In addition to the outstanding features listed above, the upgraded HI 93703-11 can memorize up to 200 measurements at any time. These can be later recalled on the LCD or downloaded to a PC. HI 93703-11 has a real time clock and can be also calibrated at 500 FTU. Use the optional Windows® compatible HI 92000 software to get the most from your instrumentation.
